Flagstaff Fallen Officer Memorial
A memorial is being forged, honoring those officers and deputies who have sacrificed their lives serving the citizens of Flagstaff and Coconino County. The memorial will be placed at the entrance to the co-located police and sheriff’s department. The memorial will consist of a bronze statue on a block of native rock, approximately 8’x 6’x 4’. The statue will be of a law enforcement officer paying respect to fallen officers. A list of those officers and deputies who have died in the line of duty will be permanently attached to the memorial. Benches will be incorporated into the memorial for officers and visitors who wish to stop and reflect. Seasonal floral displays will add color to the area and low level lighting will illuminate the memorial at night. Inscribed paver bricks will be available for purchase by the public to help sponsor this memorial. These bricks will contain a short message from the persons or businesses that help sponsor this permanent memorial. Donations will be accepted in any amount or you can sponsor a customized paver brick. A receipt will be sent to you documenting your tax deductible contribution. These sponsorships will be tax deductable with the fund being managed by Citizens Against Substance Abuse. |
